        Senior Member, Tech (All positions)

        Core Tech
        Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Gurugram

We are looking for bright and exceptional programmers to join our Software Developer teams based in the firm's offices in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurugram. We have requirements across various teams whose work spans the entire life cycle of a trade, scalable, high-performing data APIs in support of our Quant research, the systems supporting post-trade, accounting, valuation, and reporting operations, infrastructure solutions for analytic computations, and critical applications that support legal workflows. Because the software we build is closely tied to the performance of the firm's investments and to its day-to-day operations, the work done by these teams is highly critical and impactful.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

You will execute individual projects and deliverables while collaborating with business groups, driving complete project lifecycles from collecting and analyzing requirements through design, implementation, deployment, and production support. You will work closely with a broad set of stakeholders, translating their needs into well-reasoned technical proposals and carrying those proposals through to delivery while holding a high bar for both quality and timelines. You will also perform R&D to evaluate the appropriate technologies to use and resolve application and data issues in production within timelines. You will explore and apply generative AI both to solve business problems and to accelerate your own work across prototyping, coding, testing, and troubleshooting. You will build robust domain knowledge in the business you support, continually look for ways to improve the existing setup, and strike the right balance between pragmatic near-term solutions and long-term maintainability. You will provide direction and guidance to junior members of the team, participate actively in code and design reviews, and contribute to an excellent engineering culture through documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

        Who we’re looking for

        The ideal candidate should hold-
        Basic Qualifications:

        • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with a solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design
        • 2 to 4 years of robust programming experience in one or more of C++, Java, or Python, along with the willingness to work in a language-agnostic environment
        • Robust low-level design (LLD) skills and the ability to translate requirements into clean, maintainable, well-structured code
        • Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability, high quantitative aptitude, and a solid grasp of core computer science fundamentals
        • The ability to work independently, with focus, discipline, and attention to detail, in an agile and interdisciplinary environment
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with good interpersonal and reasoning ability

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • Experience with front-end technologies such as React, along with RESTful web services, messaging middleware, and relational databases
        • Experience working with large datasets and building scalable, high-performing data pipelines, libraries, or APIs
        • Exposure to the finance domain or familiarity with financial markets
