        Associate Director (Investment Services Tech)

        Core Tech
        Hyderabad or Gurugram

We seek an experienced technology leader with an excellent engineering foundation and a proven track record in building and delivering full-stack enterprise products to join the Investment Services Tech team based out of Hyderabad. The team handles technology for Finance and Operations business units, supporting post-trade activities, trade accounting, portfolio accounting, management company accounting, fund accounting, valuation, treasury, compliance, tax, senior management compensation, regulatory, and investor reporting activities. The ideal candidate will be language and framework agnostic — comfortable working with Python, Java, or other enterprise-grade technologies — and able to design solutions end-to-end, from architecture to deployment.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high‑performance enterprise applications across the full technology stack. You will architect and implement robust data strategies that include data pipelines, storage solutions, and data SLA management. Your role will involve driving database performance through optimized queries and efficient application design. You will develop both high‑level and low-level designs, ensuring scalability, availability, and maintainability. You will work closely with business stakeholders to co‑create strategies, set clear expectations, and ensure accountability in delivery. In addition, you will oversee project management activities including scope definition, milestone planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation. As a technical leader, you will champion innovation by encouraging experimentation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of new technologies and processes to enhance platform capabilities and delivery outcomes.

        • Robust technical problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alternative approaches and optimize solutions
        • Expertise in standard algorithms, data structures, and performance‑driven application design
        • Experience building and delivering full‑stack products, integrating front‑end, back‑end, and data layers
        • Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL processes, data storage architectures, and data SLA monitoring
        • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders effectively, bridge communication gaps, and build trust across teams
        • Proven project management capabilities, with a big‑picture perspective and the ability to break down complex initiatives into actionable plans
        • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
        • The ability to balance deep technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver solutions aligned with evolving business needs
        • The comfort in operating in ambiguous environments, providing technical leadership and clear direction amid changing requirements
