Management Company Accounting Analyst / Senior Analyst

We are looking for an accounting and finance professional for our Hyderabad-based Management Company Accounting (MCA) group at the Analyst / Senior Analyst level.  The group is responsible for legal entity book-keeping, financial reporting and statutory compliance of the various D. E. Shaw entities.

The candidate will be responsible for carrying out month-close operations for foreign entities of the D. E. Shaw group including monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, accruals, and prepaid accounting and intercompany reconciliations.  The applicant will also be involved in reporting for onshore and foreign entities including USGAAP and IFRS reports, preparing cash flow statements, and generating MIS packs.  Participating in process enhancement initiatives will also form a part of the applicant's responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should be a CA/ICWAI/CPA with 1 to 3 years of work experience in month-close activities for global entities, who is proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook and possesses the ability to meet tight deadlines under work pressure. Senior Analyst - Management Company Accounting

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic accounting and finance professional for our Hyderabad-based Management Company Accounting group.  The group is responsible for legal entity bookkeeping, financial reporting, and statutory compliance of the Hyderabad entity.  

Specific responsibilities include:
- Handling vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
- Ensuring compliance with all the applicable Indian Statutory laws.
- Acting as a liaison with banks for domestic and international payments.
- Handling statutory remittances and filings.
- Preparing the periodic Bank Reconciliation Statement.
- Resolving employee and vendor queries.
- Maintaining appropriate documentation of all activities.

The ideal candidate should be a commerce graduate with 4 to 6 years of Accounts Payable experience and strong accounting fundamentals.  Prior experience in an Accounts Payable team is desirable.  The candidate should be a team player with excellent communication skills, and should be able to meet stringent deadlines under work pressure. Candidates who have completed CA inter/CWA inter will be preferred.
