        We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and resourceful Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team supporting the Legal and Compliance function, based in the firm’s offices in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. This team is responsible for technological solutions that support critical functions in the Legal and Compliance domain. This position affords the opportunity for broad exposure to the firm’s trading, operations, and software development groups, as well as the chance to manage real-time issues related to the firm’s expanding suite of global investment products in a dynamic, constantly evolving regulatory environment.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        The Product Management team supporting Legal and Compliance is responsible for driving technological solutions that support critical compliance functions across the firm. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with engineering, design, business, and other front- and back-office teams to develop and launch new products and features. You will develop and maintain the product roadmap, working with senior leadership in Compliance to create a strategic product roadmap that aligns with the firm’s overall goals and objectives, and continuously update the roadmap based on user feedback, project prioritization, and other factors. You will work closely with the business to understand business needs, define product requirements, scope open-ended projects, and conceptualize effective solutions. You will conduct technical design and architecture reviews to ensure alignment with the product roadmap and end-user needs, and partner with engineering teams to address technical challenges and ensure products are delivered on time and according to specifications. You will continuously monitor product usage and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and use data to make informed decisions about product development and prioritization, including identifying technical debt and developing plans to address it in a timely manner. You will also develop and maintain product documentation, including product requirements documents, user guides, and other necessary documentation, conduct product training and enablement, and stay up to date on industry trends, serving as a subject matter expert for the product suite. Furthermore, you will manage product launches, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared, and manage project backlogs, prioritizing features and enhancements based on end-user feedback and business needs.

        Who we’re looking for

        The ideal candidate should hold-
        Basic qualifications:

        • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
        • 5+ years of total experience (3+ years of relevant experience in product management, preferably within financial services and asset management environments)
        • Experience in managing product roadmaps, from conception to launch, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, business, and other front- and back-office teams
        • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
        • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically
        • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic development environment

        Preferred qualifications:

        • Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java, and with relational databases such as MS-SQL Server
        • Experience with Agile/Scrum
        • Experience with technical writing and creating technical documentation
        • Certifications in the financial domain such as CFA or FRM
        • Knowledge of financial markets and trading, including understanding of financial securities, front and back-office systems, market data, and industry regulations
        • Experience with trading platforms
        • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
