        Specialist - Legal Admin (Legal & Compliance)

        Join our Legal team in Hyderabad

        We are looking for a bright and exceptional resource to join the Legal Admin (LA) team, which is a sub-team of the Legal department based in Hyderabad, India, undertaking multiple processes that facilitate the smooth functioning of the New York Legal team. The responsibilities include collating information, analyzing content, executing processes, managing databases and documents, interacting with counterparties, and summarizing information in requested formats.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        Legal Billing Process: You will process all legal bills pertaining to the New York, London, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and Mauritius offices while following set protocols to obtain allocations and approvals (all while monitoring until bills are paid). You will also generate reports with invoice details, reconciliation of invoices from law firms, and interact with the New York-based Accounts Payable team and law firms to pay bills seamlessly. Entity Administration: As the custodian of all entity-related information housed in the firm's entity management database, you will update and maintain this database in real-time. You will also handle entity-related matters like formations, closures, and qualifications, including drafting and editing of some standard legal documents when requested. Memos, Org Charts & Filings: You will compile legal memos and events on SharePoint for New York-based attorneys on a weekly basis. This requires reading through various memos and articles and adding the right key word to enable the attorneys in New York to search based on their area of expertise and/or interest. You will create, update, and maintain the company’s entity structure organization charts and update the charts on a quarterly basis. Additionally, you will track, prepare, and submit all annual report filings within stipulated timelines across various jurisdictions in the U.S. and globally as well including annual franchise tax filings.

        Who we’re looking for

        Basic qualifications:

        • A graduate degree in Business Administration/Management or any related field with 2 to 3 years of work experience
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills
        • Proficient organizational, editing, proofreading, project management skills, be self-motivated and possess an unwavering eye for detail combined with the ability to deliver consistently in a demanding work environment

        Preferred qualifications:

        • Prior experience in Confluence and SharePoint
