        Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Private Credit (CRE Sector Research)

        We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Private Credit team within our Financial Research group based in Gurugram/Bengaluru/Hyderabad, India. The group works with the Private Credit (North America and Europe) front office to provide in-depth support to the investment research and decision processes of the firm’s proprietary trading in the Private Credit space. This role requires you to look at large and highly structured commercial real estate opportunities, evaluating live transactions, perform deal analyses and valuations of CRE assets.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        In this role, you will be involved in supporting the front office group in analyzing and assessing investment opportunities across the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) capital structure which includes but is not limited to building and maintaining detailed financial models, performing market research, preparing and presenting investment memos, conducting investment due diligence, analyzing sector-related reports to identify insights and performing deep dives by connecting research with market data.

        Who we’re looking for

        • Candidate should have a finance degree (MBA) or an equivalent qualification, along with 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience
        • The ideal candidate should have experience in evaluating CRE transactions with expertise in performing deal analyses (returns, sensitivities, covenants, historical trends, comparables, 3-statements, and valuations)
        • Candidate should have the willingness to expand their skill sets into new sectors and products
        • The ideal candidate should possess the ability to analyze a large amount of data and derive insights, including financial data, market trends, and investment opportunities
        • Candidates proficient in building and maintaining detailed financial models including cash flow models, valuation models, and other types of financial projections
        • The candidate should have effective verbal and written communication of findings and recommendations, with attention to detail
        • Candidates with an understanding of structured finance asset classes including how to analyze, evaluate, and manage them will have an added advantage
        • The candidate should be able to lead a project while working independently with limited direction and guidance, be a good team player, and effectively interact with trading desks and stakeholders
