        Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst – Fundamental Equities (Privates) - Financial Research

        We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our Financial Research group based in India. Depending on the candidate’s location preference, the position is open for either of our Hyderabad or, Bengaluru offices in India. The candidates preferring Hyderabad location would be required to start in the Bengaluru office and spend up to 6 months in the Bengaluru office. The role is a part of our Fundamental Equities (Privates) team, which collaborates closely with front office groups providing high-quality, in-depth research and analysis, supporting investment strategies and decision-making processes.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        In this role, you will partner with deal team members on portfolio monitoring and reporting, with approximately 80% of your time focused on portfolio monitoring and the remaining 20% dedicated to due diligence on new investment opportunities. You will support monitoring of portfolio companies across the investment lifecycle by collecting, organizing, and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial and operational updates. You will coordinate with the Pricing team on mark-to-market of portfolio positions, track portfolio performance metrics, and contribute to periodic portfolio reviews and internal management reporting. You will also work with the Investor Relations team to prepare data for periodic Limited Partner (LP) updates and assist with ad-hoc LP information requests, and maintain monthly and quarterly dashboards covering capital deployment, MTM, portfolio performance, and exit scenarios, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistently formatted data. You will also conduct financial and commercial due diligence on new investment targets from Series A to pre-IPO stages, analyzing unit economics, customer cohorts, and total addressable market, building financial models, reviewing data rooms, and preparing investment memos and presentations.

        Who we’re looking for

        The ideal candidate should hold-
        Basic qualifications:

        • A degree in finance or equivalent, with 2 to 5 years of experience in portfolio management, monitoring, and reporting on private investments
        • Demonstrated financial modelling and valuation skills
        • Keen analytical skills and attention to detail
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

        Preferred qualifications:

        • Prior experience in Big 4 Transaction Services, private equity or venture capital, or FP&A roles
