        We are seeking a resourceful candidate to join our Data Analytics team in Hyderabad. The team works closely with both Front Office and Technology functions to deliver high-quality, in-depth support to the investment research group, supporting the decision-making processes that drive the firm’s global proprietary trading strategies.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        You will engage in driving modules for the establishment, execution, and maintenance of robust proprietary financial processes. You will independently manage tasks focusing on the implementation and optimization of these processes, requiring meticulous project planning and execution. You will lead a high-performing team that supports front-office traders and analysts with critical and time-sensitive recurring tasks involving financial data. You will also work closely with the technology team on automation initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and help create a collaborative environment that integrates technology and finance. You will manage large-scale financial data projects, leveraging research and analysis. You will be responsible for developing robust and scalable models to build and analyze large financial data sets, draw insights, perform exception analysis, and directly support decision-making processes. Using tools like Python and Power BI, you will extract insights to support decision-making. You will also provide direction and guidance to junior team members, actively participate in code and design reviews, and take a lead role in mentoring others. Leveraging your robust organizational and analytical skills, you will help ensure your team’s success in achieving its objectives

        Who we’re looking for

        Basic Qualifications:

        • An MBA/PGDBA with 4 to 7 years of experience in process implementation, optimization, and managing financial data projects
        • The ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and support a team of talented individuals and take ownership of their performance and professional development
        • Robust analytical and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

         

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • Experience in Python and general software development skills (source code management, debugging, testing, deployment, etc.)
        • Prior exposure to people, process and project management
