        We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our GAI Tech team in our offices based in Hyderabad as a Senior Member or Lead, Tech Ops for the role of Operations. The GAITech team is responsible for building Generative AI (GAI) infrastructure and applications within the firm. The team's objectives consist of identifying the most productive GAI models, providing tools for sophisticated GAI-based applications, creating initial iterations of GAI tools, and offering support to technical staff involved with GAI projects. The focus of the GAITech team is on improving areas such as developer productivity, process efficiency, making DESCO data easy to use with LLMs, and promoting generative AI for BU-specific adoption. Additionally, a significant aspect of the GAITech team’s role focuses on user education and promoting inter-departmental collaboration.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing ondemand front-line support for the business-critical applications and monitor, troubleshoot, and follow – up with various teams as needed, in case of any production issues. You will further be responsible for handling/replying to user queries sent to Operations team. In this role, you will also be required to proactively make efforts to understand the application, its criticality and impact on other products. You will be required to lead and manage the Operations team and plan for projects to be picked up in the current sprint by the team and update stakeholders on the progress of previous sprints. Additionally, you will be responsible for setup and managing the production/UAT infrastructure for the GAI Tech applications handling various Systems Migrations and upgrades affecting the applications and perform monthly release activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Operations documentation is in place for various applications owned by Macro Tech along with automating and streamlining the various operations processes and come up with productivity improvement tools.

        Who we’re looking for

        The ideal candidate should hold-
        Basic qualifications:

        • A Bachelor of Computer Applications/ Bachelor of Science (Computer Science/ IT) /Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology degree
        • 5 - 12 years of experience in handling IT-ops for production critical applications
        • Experience of having worked in a Linux environment
        • The ability to write/debug scripts in Python
        • A good understanding of core CS concepts like databases, operating system, and networking
        • Hands-on experience with GAI Technologies/Frameworks
        • Prior knowledge of infrastructure automation and monitoring tools
        • Excellent problem solving and logical reasoning skills as well as the ability to adhere to timelines while delivering their responsibilities
        • Prior managerial experience for project management (Operations projects) and people management
        • Exceptional communication skills, proven quick learning skills and critical thinking

        Preferred qualifications:

        • Prior experience in fintech domain
