        Lead, Tech (DESFlow)

        Front Office Tech
        Hyderabad

We are looking for an experienced mobile-application architect/developer to spearhead the development of a high-quality native DESFlow app — an internal business-productivity platform, and once the application foundation is in place, to formalize and evolve the mobile technology stack that will support future releases. The role is based in Hyderabad within our Core Tech R&D organization. The DESFlow team develops and maintains the firm’s core productivity tools, including DESFlow — a proprietary workflow management and request-tracking system used across multiple business areas. The team is also responsible for TaskIt, an internal to-do list platform, as well as other collaboration and workload management tools. The team’s scope of work includes full-stack development — covering front-end user experience, scalable application design, performance, and security — as well as infrastructure projects focused on reliability and availability. The team’s primary objective is to provide platforms that facilitate daily tasks, support collaboration, and maintain high performance across the firm. This involves enhancing user interfaces, improving system infrastructure, and ensuring robust availability. By continually refining these tools, the team enables effective tracking and management of requests, helping employees concentrate on strategic initiatives and contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

In this position, you will be designing the overall mobile architecture, choose appropriate native and/or cross-platform technologies, and set up development tooling and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for building and iterating on the DESFlow mobile application with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and UX quality. Furthermore, you will be collaborating with back-end, design, and infrastructure teams to integrate services and enforce security best practices. You will also be evaluating new frameworks and third-party services, articulate trade-offs, and present recommendations to engineering leadership. Lastly, you will be establishing coding standards, automated testing, and performance-monitoring processes; drive continuous improvement of build, release, and maintenance workflows.

        Who we’re looking for

        Basic qualifications:

        • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 7 to 12 years of professional mobile-app development experience, including recent ownership of architecture or large-scale feature design
        • Deep knowledge of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and at least one cross-platform framework (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform)
        • Exceptional grasp of mobile design patterns, offline storage, security, and performance optimization
        • Hands-on experience setting up green-field projects, automated testing, and CI/CD for mobile apps
        • Excellent communication skills in terms of ability to articulate technical choices, influence stakeholders, and work independently in a distributed team

        Preferred qualifications:

        • Experience in enterprise, SaaS, or established product companies; prior exposure to large internal user bases is a plus
