        We are looking for a resourceful candidate to join our Financial Operations group, based out of the firm’s Hyderabad office. The Financial Reporting team handles the firm’s investor and legal entity financial reporting including finalization of audits, conducting periodic variance analysis, and regulatory reporting for its hedge fund, benchmark relative fund and private fund vehicles that operate in global financial markets and invest in a wide variety of financial instruments.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        Financial and Regulatory Reporting - In this role, you will collaborate with a number of senior stakeholders at the time of new fund launches, assist in the setting up of complex fund structures and transactions, conduct historical as well as projected analyses of fund performance, technical accounting analysis for complex financial instruments, and handle bespoke requests from various internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), business unit (BU) heads, government regulators, and portfolio managers to provide key performance metrics to facilitate effective decision-making through insightful reporting, analyses, and recommendations within the MCA team. This involves P&L analysis, expense allocation, budgeting, cash management, financial and regulatory reporting, and finalization of audits for global management company entities. P&L reporting - The P&L team prepares firm-wide reports that provide insights and analyses on key performance indicators, including P&L, expenses, capital, returns, and fees. This involves coordinating with teams such as Front Office, Risk, Pricing, and other FinOp groups to ensure data accuracy, while managing recurring workflows to reconcile and allocate P&L, expenses, and capital. It also handles ad-hoc P&L and capital-related requests from portfolio managers and senior stakeholders and adapt the reporting infrastructure to reflect changes in the firm’s management company entities. Additionally, the above roles will involve handling change management processes while understanding and analyzing changes in the firm’s businesses and incorporating these changes into the firm’s financial reporting infrastructure. Furthermore, you will drive technology projects to develop reporting and analysis tools (including Power BI, Power Query and Alteryx), streamline workflows and enhance user experience. Finally, you will also be involved in staying abreast of developments in technical accounting, primarily US GAAP, UK GAAP, and HK GAAP to provide accounting guidance, adopt new accounting standards, and maintain the firm's accounting policy manual.

        Basic Qualifications:

        • A Chartered Accountancy degree and should have cleared CAInter/IPCC in their first or second attempt and completed a minimum of 1 year of articleship experience
        • The ability to uphold high standards, analyze rigorously, communicate clearly and concisely, thrive on collaboration, and should demonstrate a high degree of intellectual curiosity
        • High motivation and be an individual who can handle high levels of ownership in the respective area of operation while being comfortable functioning in an agile environment that entails timebound, high-quality deliverables

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • Knowledge of business intelligence tools, along with an understanding of global accounting frameworks
