Core Tech/Principal Manager, Tech (Treasury Tech)

        Core Tech
        Bengaluru

We are looking for an exceptional Project Manager (Principal Manager) to join the Treasury Tech team in the firm’s office in Bengaluru. Treasury Tech was established in 2021 to integrate DESCO and Arcesium-owned datasets, enabling sophisticated reporting and advanced analytics for Treasury functions. The team partners closely with Front Office systems to deliver critical margin simulation and broker optimization workflows. Core focus areas include measuring broker profitability and building tools to optimize cash and collateral usage while supporting broker negotiations through standardized data views and comparative analytics. A key capability is providing a unified interface for margin simulation, both pre-trade and intraday integrated with Front Office systems to facilitate portfolio and prime broker optimization across complex, multi-counterparty environments. Treasury Tech also delivers insights into total counterparty spend, identifying drivers of commissions and financing costs, while automating manual reporting processes to improve operational efficiency across CRM and Treasury teams. Additionally, the team enhances broker risk reporting to enable proactive monitoring and pre emptive action, helping avoid agreement terminations and excessive collateral requirements by delivering advanced simulation, optimization, and analytics capabilities.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

You will execute individual projects and deliverables while collaborating closely with DESCO Treasury and other business groups to deeply understand their workflows, challenges, and requirements. You will leverage technology to ideate, design, and deliver high-quality solutions that address complex business needs. Your responsibilities will include performing R&D to evaluate appropriate technologies, resolving application and data issues in production within defined timelines, and driving complete project lifecycles from requirements gathering and analysis through project delivery and deployment to clients. You will provide direction and guidance to junior team members, actively participate in code and design reviews, and champion engineering best practices to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
