        We are looking for candidates to join the Data Analytics (DA) team within our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad. The team partners closely with teams across Financial Research, as well as with Front Office and Technology functions, to manage critical data processes and deliver structured analytical support across the firm’s quantitative and discretionary investment strategies.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        In this role, you will support multiple asset classes including equities, futures, options, etc. by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reference data and security master information across global business lines. You will play a critical role in enabling seamless downstream processes by partnering closely with trading, and technology teams. You will manage the setup, maintenance, and ongoing validation of security master attributes across asset classes, maintaining high standards of data integrity and adherence to internal controls. You will investigate and resolve data issues through structured root cause analysis and proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will support time-sensitive, business-critical processes driven by the data analytics function, analyze large datasets to generate ad hoc insights, and contribute to reporting that informs operational decision-making. You will also identify opportunities to streamline workflows and drive automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability across business processes.

        Who we’re looking for

        The ideal candidate should hold-
        Basic qualifications:

        • A master’s degree in finance or an equivalent discipline, with 1 to 2.5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably within reference data, operations, middle office, or analytical support functions
        • The ability to demonstrate robust understanding of financial instruments, security setup and maintenance
        • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, macros, and Power Query; experience in automation will be an added advantage
        • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a robust focus on data accuracy and quality
        • Intellectual curiosity and initiative, with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, think critically, and learn quickly in a dynamic, data-driven environment
        • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

        Preferred Qualifications:

        • Familiarity with SQL, Python, automation, or Artificial Intelligence tools
        • Hands on experience with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv (Reuters), and Capital IQ
