        Senior Member/Tech Ops (Trading Connectivity)

        Join our Front Office Tech team in Hyderabad

        Trading connectivity team is looking to hire a new Senior Tech Associate in the team to join our trading connectivity team based in the firm’s offices in Hyderabad. The team is responsible for developing and supporting the firm’s primary trading system.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        You will keep a track of immediate production issues with our broker connections and resolve the problems by following up with brokers, systems and members of trading connectivity team as needed. You will also keep a track of upcoming changes to our broker connections and handle configuration changes, as well as UAT testing etc. required for such changes. You will be responsible for setting up new trading connections that mostly required configuration changes. You will interface with FinOps teams to handle their queries to enable new account setups for trading and also handle configuration changes to our local setups. Additionally, you will help the Data Analytics team with production issues related to local setups. You will be responsible for driving long term simplification of our trading connections by following up with brokers to use common standards across our connections.

        Who we’re looking for

        Basic qualifications:

        • A Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)/ Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Computer Science/IT)/ Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/ Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree
        • Around 2 years of IT experience in the role of application software support and L1/L2 operation services
        • Good troubleshooting & debugging skills
        • Flexibility with working hours (open to work in either early morning or late-night shifts)
        • Prior experience in a Linux environment, exposure to scripting and application support environment, along with familiarity with one of the programming languages like C/C++/Python/Java
        • Excellent communication skills and ability to efficiently deal with multiple time-critical issues in an agile environment

         

        Preferred qualifications:

        • Prior exposure to financial domain
